BaegManJeDan

The JeDan(altar) refers to a place where sacrifices are offered during a ritual. ‘Baegman’ does not mean the number 1,000,000, but rather consists of ‘Baek’ (white), signifying purity, and ‘Man’ (萬 만), meaning a king who toiled on the earth. Therefore, the Baegman JeDan signifies the altar where a ritual is performed to resolve sins by sacrificing ‘oneself’ spiritually to be reborn as God.

During the Jeondogwan era, Elder Park Tae-sun announced the construction of the BaegmanJeDan and the SeungNiJeDan (Victory Altar), collected architectural donations, and even created blueprints. However, the actual construction never took place. Later, he instructed Mr. Jo Hee-sung by phone to buy land, build the altar, and put up the sign for the BaegManJeDan (Victory Altar).
