SinAngChon

SinAngChon (信仰村) is a communal village where followers of ‘Korea Jesus Mission’ (formerly Cheonbugyo), a religious group founded by the late Elder Park Tae-sun, lived collectively and pursued a self-sufficient lifestyle.

The main areas include Sosa SinAngChon 1 in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province; Deokso SinAngChon 2 in Namyangju; and Gijang SinAngChon 3 in Busan. These were pioneered by followers with their bare hands, establishing industrial complexes and residential areas to build a self-reliant economy. It is also considered one of the spiritual origins of the Saemaul Undong (New Village Movement) in the 1970s.

SinAngChon 1 symbolizes God; SinAngChon 2, the Eve Victor; and SinAngChon 3, the appearance and emergence of the Adam Victor.
