SipSeungJi (十勝地) is a concept that appears in prophetic books such as ‘GyeokAmYuRok,’ meaning ‘ten victorious lands.’
It is generally known to refer to ten geographically safe locations (e.g., Gongju, Gimje, etc.) where one can avoid calamities such as wars, famines, and natural disasters.
However, another interpretation suggests that ‘Sip (十)’ symbolizes God, who represents perfection, ‘Seung (勝)’ means victory, and ‘Ji (地)’ symbolizes not just a place but also ‘people (Lord).’ Thus, it is also interpreted as a prophetic code implying that calamities can only be avoided by finding a specific individual (savior) known as the ‘Victor’ or ‘JeongDoRyeong (正道令)’. In other words, it carries a symbolic meaning representing a savior, not merely a physical refuge.
